Your final project for this course is to share what you have learned about yourself as a leader and the role technology will play in your educational leadership endeavors, as well as how you will continue to explore and learn moving forward in this area.

This project can take any form you wish. Do your best to utilize some of the multimedia/digital storytelling tools we've explored this week. Tell a story. Take some risks. Be creative. Impress us.

Can you create a PowerPoint or write a paper? I guess so, but considering thinking beyond the box.
Google "Alternatives to PowerPoint" and expand your mind...Make a video! Use Prezi. Use animations to tell your story. Use Haiku Deck. Here are 50+ Web 2.0 Ways to Tell a Story.
Your project must address the following content:
  1. What kind of educational leader do you want to be?
  2. How does the use of technology fit into the vision of your leadership and what you want for your school, teachers, students, and community?
  3. Summarize three main take-aways from this course and the accompanying activities/readings/videos/experiences in regards to technology & communication that changed the way you think about what it means to be a leader in today's schools.
  4. What are your next steps? How will you embrace connected learning and digital tools in order to enhance your work as a principal? What do you still wish to explore and learn?

This project is due Friday, June 26.
Please note:
  • Time will be made available during class for work on the project and 1:1 feedback from the instructor.
